The course covers real-world best practices for effective use of the software.
Throughout the course practical examples are demonstrated, and the delegates get to practice what they have learned in each chapter with hands-on exercises.
An optional 1 day lab-based practical is also offered, which gives you the opportunity to plan & execute a performance test project from start to finish. |

| This core course provides a comprehensive understanding of using QuickTest Professional as an automated functional testing tool for different environments. You will use QuickTest Professional’s graphical point and click interface to record and play back tests, add synchronization points and verification steps, as well as create multiple action tests. You will build upon fundamental topics by using debug tools to troubleshoot tests and use additional checkpoints and product options to broaden the scope of business processes that can be automated. This suite of 3 courses focuses on using LoadRunner to load-test Web applications. You will create test scenarios and run them using the LoadRunner Controller. You will use the LoadRunner Analysis component to interpret load test results.
The information gathered during planning is used to create and enhance scripts specific to Web applications using the Virtual User Generator (VuGen) component of LoadRunner. All topics are supported by hands-on exercises designed to provide you with the knowledge to load test your applications in the Web environment.
The last day involves in comprehension testing where students are required to create, enhance and debug scripts according to the given specifications. Once the script is ready, they need incorporate the script as part of a scenario to run load tests to according to the given performance objectives.
